The Eastern Screech Owl is a small, nocturnal, woodland Owl found in eastern North America. This owl is one of the smallest of the species, measuring only 8 to 9 inches in length. Screech owls are rarely sighted, and are nocturnal in nature. The Eastern Screech Owl appears in the wild in different colors, or "phases".
